With its irreplaceable processing advantages, optical fiber laser cutting machines have gained the trust of many metal processing enterprises. However, although the efficiency of fiber laser cutting machines is high, after using them for a period of time, there may be some errors in the cutting accuracy, and the processed products may not achieve the expected cutting effect. This error is often caused by changes in focal length. Therefore, mastering how to adjust the accuracy is a necessary knowledge for operating a laser cutting machine. Next, Redsail Laser will take you through the adjustment methods for the accuracy of fiber laser cutting machines:

How to adjust the accuracy of fiber laser cutting machines over time?

1: When the light spot of the focus laser is adjusted to the minimum, spot shooting is performed to establish the initial effect. The focal length position is determined by the size of the light spot effect. As long as we recognize that the light spot of the laser reaches the minimum, then this position is the optimal focal length for processing, and then the processing process begins.

2: In the first part of debugging the laser cutting machine, we can use some test paper and workpiece waste to spot determine the accuracy of the focal length position. By moving the position of the upper and lower laser head heights, the laser spot size will change in different sizes when spotting. Adjust different positions multiple times to find the smallest light spot position to determine the focal length and the optimal position of the laser head.

3: After the installation of the fiber laser cutting machine, a scribing device will be installed on the cutting nozzle of the numerical control cutting machine, and a simulated cutting pattern will be drawn through the scribing device. The simulated pattern is a 1m square. A circle with a diameter of 1m is built in, and diagonal lines are drawn at the four corners. After drawing, use a measuring tool to measure whether the drawn circle is tangent to the four sides of the square. Whether the diagonal length of a square is √ 2, the central axis of the circle should bisect the sides of the square, and the distance from the point where the central axis intersects the two sides of the square to the intersection point of both sides of the square should be 0.5m. The cutting accuracy of the equipment can be determined by testing the distance between the diagonal and the intersection point.

The above is our experience in the actual cutting process of the fiber laser cutting machine, and the operator can conduct practical operations according to the above methods to verify them.
