How to maintain the water cooler of a laser cutting machine

The laser generator, beam controller, and electrical control cabinet in the laser system of the laser cutting machine may all require additional cooling. The temperature of cooling water is usually between 15 ℃ and 22 ℃, and the accuracy of cooling water is usually 1 ℃ or 2 ℃. Some laser equipment may require a laser temperature of 0.1 ℃, while others have certain requirements for the conductivity and corrosion resistance of cooling water, resulting in high water quality requirements. The pipeline is made of stainless steel or PVC material. So how to maintain the daily laser cutting machine chiller?

Firstly, regularly clean the dust

When there is too much dust, remove the dust net, use an air spray gun and water pipe to remove the dust on the dust net. Please use a neutral detergent to clean the oil stains, let it dry, and then reinstall the dust net.

2、 Pure water filter

Regularly rinse or replace the filter element.

Thirdly, liquid level

Regularly check if it is necessary to add liquid. Usually, the water in the water tank is determined by covering the coil in the water tank. When it is below the coil, liquid should be replenished. Regularly change the water according to the water quality. If the water flow rate of the pump is too small, it is caused by the blockage of the pump body by the pump air. Press the red button on the water filter to remove air from the water system and wait until the water flow is normal. When bubbles are mixed in the waterway, the light transmittance of the water will decrease. When there are bubbles at the return of the transparent hose or water tank, please check.

4、 Condenser, exhaust port, filter

In order to maintain the optimal cooling capacity of the system, the condenser, vent, and filter screen should be kept clean and dust-free. The filter can be easily removed from both sides, and any accumulated dust should be removed with mild detergent and water. Before reinstallation, rinse and dry.

5、 Regularly replace the water in the chiller.

The water inside the chiller needs to be replaced regularly, usually every month. Long term use of cold water can easily cause scale formation, block waterways, reduce water flow, and reduce cooling effectiveness, so regular water replacement is the primary issue. Regularly check the water quality in the water tank of the chiller. If the cooling water quality deteriorates, becomes turbid, and the transparency decreases, all deteriorated cooling water should be promptly discharged and replaced with new cooling water. Try to choose distilled water as much as possible, and if there are no conditions, choose deionized water. Every manufacturer has requirements for water quality, and it is important to ensure that it meets these requirements. Otherwise, long-term use of substandard water quality may cause scaling inside the laser.
