Laser engravers and laser cutters are essentially the same. Trotec laser equipment can be used for both laser engraving and laser cutting. Depending on the main application, two terms are used:

If the laser equipment is mainly used for cutting processing, it is usually called a laser cutting machine. If the main application is laser engraving processing, it is called a laser engraving machine.
